The dumplings here are SOLID! I always have the pork dumplings in the chili sauce. Guys, the chili sauce here is seriously spicy. If you love spice, this is your heaven! The dumplings are juicy pillows and I am in heaven in between my coughing fits triggered by the peppers. You order by QR code/website. I actually love this. It's not a very human touch, but I HATE waiting so this soothes my impatient soul. Be sure to order the cold barley tea. They used to serve it automatically. But the last time I was there, it became a menu item. Sorry, no pics because I was hungry.

We came to try the noodles and they did not disappoint. They were bouncy and delicious. However I did not care for the soup dumplings. The other noodles were delicious.

Mian is located in the 808 Sheridan Center. It is a decently sized restaurant that can fit both smaller and bigger groups. They are known for their noodle dishes as well as dumpling dishes. If you love spicy schezuan flavor this is the place for you. I like the intestines spicy noodles with a hot and sour dumplings. I would recommend getting extra spice if you like spicy. The food comes out pretty quick and you can order everything through the QR code.

wow. Sitting down and eating at this restaurant located in the 808 Center kitty corner to Wal Mart Keeamoku is a HUGE difference than the grab and go we did while under Covid restrictions. This cute restaurant serves about 35 people. You order remotely but the service is amazing. Food came out quickly efficiently and the customer service was attentive and polite. What we ordered: Beef tomato noodles- 5 stars House beef noodles 4 stars Spicy Pork Dumplings 5 stars Beef pancakes 3 stars Soup dumplings 5 stars We didn't use their parking because we walked so I can't comment on that. It was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Really good food and overall decent prices! You order via the QR on the table and you can pay on your phone as well. We got the Chengdu Zajiang noodle, tomato beef stew noodle, soup dumplings, house beef roll, and the plum juice. The plum juice was very smokey and not too sweet. It tasted almost like bbq sauce?? Not bad but I wasn't expecting it lol. It went well with the zajiang noodles though. My gf really enjoyed the zajiang noodles. The "little spicy" option was just the right amount of heat. Its very different from the Korean-Chinese style jjajangmian, more fragrant and savory. And the portion was really good for $13! Beef stew noodle was SO delicious, warming and savory! I was so full but couldn't stop eating it, even drank the soup lol. Soup dumplings were good! Pretty straightforward, nice delicate thin skins (they broke really easily though) Beef roll was also a hit, my gf really liked it but imo it was a tiny bit bland (after my soup). The exterior is flakey and crisp and its filled with crunchy vegetables and tender beef. Lunch for the two of us (a very heavy lunch with leftovers, could easily be a dinner) cost about $50 pre-tip. I'll be thinking about that beef tomato soup so we will be back for sure!

Mian is known for their Sichuan style food that leaves a nice numbing spice in your mouth. This is a no-frill type of spot, order through the QR codes on your table and the food comes out fairly quickly. House beef noodle soup: we ordered it regular spicy, with their homemade noodles with an extra free side of noodles! The beef in this soup was braised so beautifully that it was falling apart. The first couple of sips of the soup was a tad bit spicy but that spice becomes addicting after a few bites. Chili oil wontons: Be sure to mix this dish up well, with all of the chili oil sauce at the bottom of the bowl-- it's best when you can get a nice even coating of sauce. Soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao): I don't think Mian is known for their Xiao Long Bao-- and XLB is one of those things that takes a lot of finesse to do well. It was okay but really on par with a good frozen microwavable XLB. Beef pancake rolls: one of my favorite bites of the whole meal! Scallion pancake rolled up with marinated beef, cucumbers and salty sweet sauce. Highly recommend! Parking can be a bit tough here, there's a small lot attached that fills up quickly. You can find some street parking or other parking lots in the area.

A genuinely good option for noodles! This restaurant is located on the first floor of a plaza on Cedar and Rycroft Street. Parking can be a bit difficult -- there are a handful of spots in the private lot for the plaza (first hour is free) and some street parking if you're able to nab a spot. If you speak Chinese, you'll probably get the attention of the servers more quickly, but otherwise you might have to go to the front counter to get seated since the staff is sometimes in the back. You place an order on your phone by scanning the QR code at the table and browsing the menu there. I got the house beef noodle soup, chili oil chao shou, and XLBs, which all came out promptly. The noodle soup was my favorite; the noodles were chewy and fresh, and the broth was tasty with a perfect level of spice (at the "little spicy" option)! The only downside was that the meat was a bit chewy/tough. The chili oil chao shou left a lot to be desired, as there wasn't any ginger/green onion/etc in the filling, so the pork flavor was a bit overpowering compared to the sauce. The XLBs were good; the wrapping was a bit too thick on the top for my tastes but overall it was pretty authentic. Would definitely come back to satisfy my noodle cravings!

I always wanted to check this place out and finally got the chance to today. Mian is a chain and my friend said the Honolulu location tastes better than the California locations. Our order was placed online through a QR code and the food was delivered shortly after. I love how you could get free extra noodles with each noodle dish. House Beef Noodles- 6.5/10; I found the meat to be on the chewier side and the broth to be quite oily. I ordered the little spicy version and found it to be the perfect spice level for me. The spice does linger on the lips for a bit. Chendu zajiang noodles- 5/10; I love the texture of the noodles but am not sure the peanut sauce was for me Pork dumplings- 8/10; My favorite dish that I ordered. The sauce that it came with was delicious, didn't expect it to have a sweet flavor. Pancake beef roll- 6/10; I never tried this anywhere else so it's hard for me to have a comparison. House fried chicken-7.5/10; Never thought I would order fried chicken at a noodle place but it was very crispy and tasty. My sisters loved it. Overall, I loved the texture of the noodles and uniqueness of each dish, but I'm not sure if it's something I would come back again to. Although, it could just be me and my taste buds. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and wanted to try something different!

Good, chewy noodles with a lot of options. My family has returned here a few times and we all get different things and always enjoy it. Their house made noodles are very good and you can get an extra side portion for free, which we always do and then take it home for a second meal. However, this place struggles with service. All the ordering and paying is done online, and as a result, they don't hire enough staff. When we went it was extremely busy with people waiting and only one busboy. He was filling waters, taking orders to tables, helping older people check out, giving out takeout containers, and wiping down tables - it was way too much for one person! One couple even came in, was confused because there was no one to direct them to a table, sat down, and got up and left after about two minutes because no one helped them. This is no fault to the worker, he was doing his absolute best and working very hard, but they need to have more staff because every single customer was getting neglected.
